Assemble is a place to keep the things you love and share them with people you choose. We don't run ads, we don't sell your data, and we don't follow you around the internet.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and the name you choose to show friends.
• What you add: the things, collections, pictures, notes, comments and reactions you create or share.
• Usage information: how the app is used, such as which features are used and when, and technical information like device type and crash reports.

How we use it

• To run Assemble: keep your library in sync across your devices and show shared collections to the people you share them with.
• To keep accounts secure and the service reliable.
• To understand how Assemble is used and make it better.
• To contact you about your account or important changes.

What we never do

• Show ads, or use your information for advertising or retargeting.
• Sell your personal information, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• Use what you save to train AI models.

Who can see what you add

Your private collections are visible only to you. Shared collections are visible to the people you share them with, and you decide who that is. You can stop sharing at any time; we can't recall what someone has already seen.

We use trusted service providers to host and operate Assemble. They process information only on our behalf and only to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law.

Keeping it safe

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to what's needed to operate, secure and support Assemble.

Your choices and rights

• You can edit or delete what you've added at any time in the app.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data.
• Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the LGPD in Brazil), you may have further rights. Contact us to use them.

Other things to know

• Assemble is for people 18 and older.
• We keep information while your account is active, and delete it when you ask us to delete your account, except where the law requires us to keep it.
• If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll let you know in the app before it takes effect.
